Top 100 - 2026 ICFL Pre-Season - #100-#80
yep you are seeing this right, it's that time of year again
Jeff Gunn, Vice President of The Idaho Contact Football League, is know for his, and often argued or offended by, Top Lists.
100. Joel Thompson - Alphas - TE: Better in my head, and others had him much higher, but after looking at his stats, maybe he’s a little too high. He does get overshadowed by League MVP that plays the same position on the same team. He’s the 10th leading reciever for the defending Champs. 2 rec, 24 yds, TD… yikes.
99. Kenny Huffstutler - Aztecs - WR: Last year he was the Aztecs 5th producing WR. But Porter Grow is gone, and Hull moved to QB. They did add a couple WR’s from BT, but I still think there’s a larger role carved out for him. And our DC last year mentioned a few times at film he is one of their most underrated players. 10 rec, 152 yds, TD
98. Soni Tuinei - BT - DL: One of my biggest movers. I had him a lot higher. Then someone pointed out him often standing straight up on film. Then others I asked had him way lower too, so I moved him down a bit. But it hurt, cuz I love this guy. I know he’s putting in the work, and he’s huge, so if he can figure out a way to stay lower with his leverage, the size/talent is there to be an All-Star. I’d spend a bunch of time with teammate superstar Ryan Carlen and get some pointers.
97. Carlos Enriquez - Alphas - DT: I’m kinda guessing here based on the numbers he put up for the Diggers a few years back. He WAS an All-Star, on another team. New diggs, a few years older, wait n’ see I guess.
96. Chance Hudson - Sabers - FS/WR: Another maybe guy. I remember watching him on the Invaders a few years back and falling in love with his game. “How do we get that guy?” Then he told me to F off, he’d never ever leave the Invaders, then signed with the Sabers. 😂 Anyway, I think he can be a baller. But he’s been hurt for 2 years, and the Sabers don’t have him listed as the starter.
95. Jameke Barber - Warhawks - WR: Huge flashes, followed by long droughts. Sometimes I see him make a game winning catch, and sometimes he’s just out there taking up a position. He’s a talented player, but I think they need to find a way to get some consistency out of him. 12 rec, 157 yds, 4 TD
94. Kishan Joiner - Sabers - DB/RB: I strongly dislike when teams list a guy as “Ath” but if it applies to anyone… KJ has been one of the best CB’s in the league before, then started at WR before moving to RB, then moved to FB, then was listed as a LB. All I know is he will be on the field somewhere and he will impact the game.
93. Jaymon Barrus - BT - CB/RB: Man, this kid. So much raw potential… if he applied himself. Was a superstar RB at Mt. View and sprinter at BSU. Was on pace to have a nice season last year at corner before an injury derailed his season. This year, I guess we will see.
92. Jovarri Beasley - Warhawks - OL: I seem to like this guy a lot more than others. We recruited the hell outta him this offseason, and his loyalty is respectable. I think he’s flew under the radar with Dorr/Brink over there last year, but that’ll change this year. I expect him to be an All-Star.
91. Junior Pigott - Matadors - CB: I actually don’t know if he’s even playing. He’s unsigned, or at least unsubmitted which the Dors are notorious for. I think he’s one of the better ball hawk corners, just gets a little too confident at times and gives up the 9 ball.
90a. Louie Anguiano - Sabers - LB: Young kid outta Nampa High. They claim he’s their most underrated player. So I moved him wayyy up, then they were like Slow down Cowboy, not THAT high. So I moved him down. Anyway, could be a huge breakout year for him.
90b. Taven Lozada - Alphas - DE: Almost identical stats to the guy above him with 21 tk, 3 Sacks. They split the HM DE spot last year with Repp receiving 1 more vote. So I put him 1 spot below. On the other hand, Lozada is a Champion. Maybe he shoulda been above. Looking forward to seeing which one has a better 26 season.
89. Trevor Repp - Warhawks - DE: I’ll admit I don’t know a ton about this guy. He flew under my radar. We’ve never had a conversation, and he didn’t really stick out to me on film. But his numbers speak for themselves. The Honorable Mention DE had 22 tk & 3 Sacks last year, and the Warhawks rave about him being one of their best.
88. Lucas Gottschall - BT - OLB: Still maintains he isn’t playing this season, but has also participated in every practice. The smartest guy remaining on the BT defense, the most experienced leader, and a 2nd Team All-Star. He’s going to play again, and he will probably lead all OLB in INT, per usual, like he did last year. He also scored a TD last year, like he does every year.
87. Coleton Crawford - BT - MLB: 47 tackles, 2 INT was good for 1st Team All-ICFL last year. Others had bigger stats, but when it came down to it, Crawford is just more physical. He moves much better than he looks like he should, and hauled in 2 picks. He’s earned himself a leadership spot with BT, and I predict he will finish with more tackles than last years campaign, unless Coach Wilson makes him an OL…. right Kolton? Edit: I already posted this, but i think he actually should be in the #80 spot.
86. TJ Cothran - Matadors - CB: Had a breakout year for BT last year with his 5 INT & 1 TD earning him 2nd Team Honors. He returns back home to the Dors, and should slide into a starting role opposite Lyons. He’s always been a solid corner, and he’s been better in the back half of his career. I expect him to have another great year. Happy for you Teej.
85. Jordan Else - Matadors - DB/QB: This was a tough one to rank. Do I rank him on what he did last year? He had a huge year at QB, maybe due to an elite WR corps. But he’s not playing QB this year. So do I rank him at DB? He’s sniffed the Top 100 in previous seasons. So I split the difference. He gets credit for being able to play a lot of spots, which in this league when you never know who will be available, is very valuable.
84. Juan Labra - Diggers - G: Once was in the debate for ICFLs strongest man. Father Time catches up to us all though, and injuries have been part of it. I like Labra, and he was an HM ICFL G last season. I think I voted him higher than everyone else though, so maybe I’m holding onto the good ole days. Rooting for you man, and that video dude posted of you injured was 🗑️.
83. Tony Jacobsen - Sabers - RB: He’s been out of the ICFL for a few years. Had a solid year for the Aztecs back then, splitting time, and if I recall struggling with fumbles. Since then, he’s been with the Idaho Horsemen. But he’s a very capable back, albeit in an extremely crowded backfield. Will he start over Bunn/Williams/Carrier/Santacrose/KJ/Sunny/RJ etc? Aren’t the Sabers a passing team?
82. Wyatt Johnson - Aztecs - DL/OL: He brings a ton of value because he plays both sides of the ball. He will probably have to do more offense this year with 3 starting Aztec OL now gone. As long as he can hold up, he’s a solid ball player. He was a 3rd team All-ICFL DE in 2025 with 7 Sacks. Looking at this, I kinda want to move him up a spot. Too lazy, here he stays.
81. Jaymond Dyer - Alphas - FS: 2nd Team All-Star FS had 30 tk, 6 picks, and a TD last season. He covers ground well, and is usually in the right place. The champs rarely got beat over the top, and he was a big part of that. For some reason others had him lower. Maybe I’m the only one that thinks W’s and Trophies mean something.
80. Eric Estrada - Diggers - WR/RB: Can be a problem for defenses at times. His biggest hold back is he just didn’t play all that often last year. His best game was last season at BT, because he had something to prove, and he let me hear about it. He had 8 touches for 101 yds 0 TD in a loss, which was almost half his entire season production. But props, I moved ya up a bit this year. He finished the Diggers 3rd leading reciever.
