2025 Pre-Season Tight End Position Rankings

Tight Ends

1. Carson Fisk ✈️- A pretty good target for the Warhawks, as long as they have someone who can get it to him. Last year was the ONLY TE to lead his team in recieving with 12 catches for 105 yds and a TD. Personally, I think that says more abouy the lack of WR’s. But you cant deny Carson is a good ball player.

2. Joel Thompson 🐺- Less catches than the guy above him, but more yds (156) and same TD. He benefits from more help around him, and if they switched spots, Carson still has a slight edge.

3. Brogan Thoren ⛏️- Again, this is a production list, not a talent one. Brogan is the most talented TE in the group. He just focuses at DL. He’s too good not to play some TE in some key situations this year.

4. Sioeli Tuinei 🔱- He’s new. “So why is he so high?!?!” I’ve been around this league a long time. I can almost guarantee you he will be the top TE at end of season. He’s like 6’4” Fluid as hell, and some of the best hands on the team. Only critique I have on him👂: Lazy routes at times. Let’s crisp those up a bit sir. Was a QB at Mt. View, but plays TE for us. You can’t miss him.

5. Nick Crutcher 🐂- I got heat for not listing him at TE a couple years ago (even though their own coach listed him at WR), so I’ll never not list him at TE again. A little undersized for a TE, but hard as hell for a LB to cover. 141 yds and 2 Tuds last year for Dors. Hindsight, he could prob be up a slot.

6. Cam Church 🔱- Another new TE this year. Doesn’t really look the part, so I didn’t expect much. 20 mins into 1st practice I noticed he was the only guy who hadn’t dropped a single ball. Then 2 joint practices in, watching him jump over and Moss guys on 2 teams, I was sold. I still never see him drop passes. I need to see his aggressiveness in pads (he’s so tired of me saying that), but he played in highschool, so I’m not too worried. His skills as a pass catcher are undeniable.

7. Matt Lee 🐅 - Co-TE for the Sabers. This one is their bigger blocking TE. I asked them who to list first, and they gave the edge to Lee. Like a 6th OL with his blocking ability, and remember, their OL was already pretty damn solid.

8. Alexander Martinez 🐺- Ex-DB & Digger. Plays LB as well. They said he’s a playmaker on both sides of the ball. Only reason he’s low is because he doesnt focus at 1 spot.

9. Kishan Joiner 🐅- Sabers elusive TE. Was a RB last year, and also starts at DB. I already know how athletic and tenacious Kish is. TE is a dangerous spot for him. Again, only down here cuz he splits time on O, and starts on D.

10. Ty Halsey 🪄- Sorry Griffins coach, I haven’t asked you about him, please don’t hurt my feelings again. I asked prior Griffins leadership and they said “he’s pretty good, not Dottellis good, but prob near the top 5 based on who I can remember.”

11. Gaige Sheen ⛏️- Was DBax last year prior to fold, at which point he made his way to Warhawks. He had an ok year last year, but not good enough to make the Top 50 in stats, and I’m too lazy to go look. Might start on Diggsrs, unless they need a big play, that belongs to THOR-en.

12. Nick Dottellis 🔱 - Victim of new talent. Nick is maybe the best TE in the whole damn league, one of the few who played it in college. He was set to focus full time at only TE, in which case I had him listed at #1. But then a bigger need opened on defense, and 2 new TE’s stepped up huge. Nick will still do it at times, too reliable not to use him. 77 yards and a TD last year.

13. Jordan Straughter ✈️ - Great athlete, had 1 catch for 10 yards last season. Mainly a DE guy. A true tackle, thats athletic enough to run a few routes.

14. Kyle Griffin 🪄- Properly named for the team he joined. He’s pretty new to football, and will play mostly ST. “Good size.”
