2025 Pre-Season Quarterback Position Rankings

Quarterbacks

1. Isaac Sanchez šŸ”±- Some people that help with these lists disagree with putting someone who’s been outta the league for a few years. But I’m El Jefe’ not them. Plus it’s not like he wasn’t playing in a league like ours in Missouri while he was there… so lemme give you some perspective. Last year Jared Smith was pretty unanimously the best QB right? Well, in 2022, Sanchez last year with us, he threw for 2,200+ yards (500 more than Jared last year) and 32 TD’s (11 more than Jared last year). Oh, and I can tell you, he’s better now than when he left.Ā

2. Emmitt Johnson šŸ…- Young calf passes the old goat in my book. Emmitt is super talented. Last year, in a half season he threw for 900 yds and 13 TD, and he has better weapons this season. Maybe I’m a lil’ too enamored by the potential as he hasn’t accomplished even 5% of what Colt has.

3. Colt Knigge šŸŗ- I learned a long time ago not to bet against Tom Brady. Colt continues to defy Father Time, and is the leagues most accomplished winner. He hasn’t done it with the Tecs yet, but they have more talent than they’ve ever had by far. Yes, the new players overshadow what you’ve ā€œhad.ā€ So if not now, then when? Last year was prime for the taking and they couldn’t get it done. This might be their last great chance.Ā

4. Tanner Eldredge 🐺- Other guys have him ahead of Colt. I gotta disagree untill he can cut down on the turnovers. 14 TD to 17 INT is yikes. But he’s elusive with his feet and seems to have a lot more help this year.Ā

5. AJ Hunter ā›ļø- 6th All-Time in career passing. Just ahead of Jared Smith and right below Isaac Sanchez. Hunter has thrown for almost 4k yds and 55 TD. Pretty solid with his legs too.Ā

6. Fondereaux Wilson šŸ… - He’s the Sabers backup, but I’m not entirely sure that he should be. The Ex-Mustang / Horsemen Athlete is too elusive to ride pine. I’m sure he will have some packages. He’s defly better than the current Horseman starter.Ā

7. Seth Cross šŸ”±- Another 2nd string guy. Threw for 400 yds and 4 TD last year in split time. But he’s way better this year than he was last year. Just a lot more comfortable in the offense. Makes the right read, just 1 second too late. We’re almost there.Ā

8. Austin Clark ā›ļø- Was the DBax starter last year, prior to mid-season fold, and was a Digger before that. He’s a good enough athlete to play some other spots, and a very good back up option.Ā

9. Jordan Else šŸ‚- Rumored starter for the Dors. But in our fantasy draft last night (tell ya later), the Dors took a lower guy ahead of him, and put Taco at RB/DB. Which is just further proof that Jared (and Sam) are sand baggin’.Ā

10. Matt Knoles āœˆļø- Warhawk starter actually has a decent arm, just not real accurate. He’s played in this league a long time, and never started at QB. At the Invaders scrimmage, we all couldn’t stop talking about how much he is like a Temu Jared Smith. Stands same, walks same. Same mannerisms. Now, just need to accurate the same.Ā

11. Austin Whiting šŸŖ„- Griffins starter. I know pretty much nothing about him. His name sounds familiar. Has he played in the league before this year?Ā

12. Brandon Booth šŸ”±- Our 3rd guy. Honestly far more talented than the 4 above him. He’s gonna be really really good. He’s just 16 yrs old. Prob won’t set foot on an ICFL field this year (can’t till he’s 17 anyway). He’s just getting some extra coaching for highschool ball. He’s a kid, so he wants to play, but really just needs to sponge up everything ya can, start for your highschool team, and go play college ball, then come back. In 10 years, you can still duel it out with Colt. Who knows, maybe he gets a lil’ time in after his BDay.

13. Kohl Lindholm - Sabers 3rd guy. Not a bad player. Played in a 7on7 with us a month back. Pretty decent arm, was just tough to use him with 0 knowledge if the offense. I don’t know why the Sabers would stash him at 3rd when he could prob go compete for Griffins job right now.Ā

14. Kadun Allen šŸ‚- Talent is there, mental is not. I saw sooo much potential in the guy, but I couldn’t break his mental block against pulling the trigger when he sees someone open. The Dors didn’t last year either. Maybe this is his year… behind Jared and Taco. Prob coulda competed for starting job on Warhawks.Ā

15. Josh Stewart āœˆļø- He’s only here because if something were to happen, I’ll bet he takes over there. Again, woulda been a great opportunity for one of these 3rd string guys.
